Aberdonian Kenny Atkins was born in Scotland, spent his teen years in California and then returned to London around the time that Big Dada was setting up. In the decade that followed, no DJ has been more involved with the label. He was a resident at the short-lived and much-missed GOSH! nights at Plastic People. He has DJed for Mike Ladd’s Infesticons/Majesticons project, New Flesh, Roots Manuva, Juice Aleem and just about any and everyone else involved in the label. And, through his radio show and mix cds, he has tirelessly championed and promoted the label’s releases.

So when he heard of our 10th anniversary celebrations Kenny put together a lovingly-crafted, utterly blazing two hour mix of the the label’s output, running in chronological order from 1997’s 'Misanthropic' right up to the present day. Originally envisaged as a radio special, the mix was so good (and so long!) that we pressed up just 1000 on double cd and decided to give them the push the mix deserves. It really is ridiculously good, a must-have for any fan of the label and we hope you’ll agree. Raise your glasses, ladies and gents, to Kenny A La Fu!

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0493/8563/5999/files/well-deep-ten-years-of-big-dada-retrospective-mix-by-dj-a-la-fu-main.jpg?v=1793913087
https://merch.ninjatune.net/products/various-artists-well-deep-ten-years-of-big-dada-retrospective-mix-by-dj-a-la-fu
