Parring that back into a concise 12 track album was no easy task. Some say the art of album sequencing is dead in this age of digital, random shuffle, single based mentality but we still stand by the experience of a properly laid out album. Particularly one that follows the conceptual lines laid out on \u003ca href=\"http:\/\/ninjatune.net\/release\/the-bug\/angels-and-devils\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eAngels \u0026amp; Devils\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e. The upside to this process is the absolutely insane amount of quality material still in those files. \r\n\r\n\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWith that we give you The Bug \u003cem\u003eExit\u003c\/em\u003e. Serving both as a fat cut post album single for \u003ca href=\"http:\/\/ninjatune.net\/release\/the-bug\/angels-and-devils\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eAngels \u0026amp; Devils\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e and a way to make sure more of the excellent material sees the light of day. \r\n\r\n\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eFirst up is the \u003ca href=\"http:\/\/ninjatune.net\/release\/the-bug\/angels-and-devils\"\u003e\u003cem\u003eAngels \u0026amp; Devils\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e opener \"\u003cstrong\u003eVoid\u003c\/strong\u003e\" and \"\u003cstrong\u003eVoid Version\u003c\/strong\u003e\", featuring \u003cstrong\u003eLiz Harris\u003c\/strong\u003e (of \u003cstrong\u003eGrouper\u003c\/strong\u003e). The original of the mutant floating pop track that opens the album, followed by and even deeper\/headier (as if that were even possible) spaced out and dubbed out version. \r\n\r\n\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOn the flip side is \"\u003cstrong\u003eBlack Wasp\u003c\/strong\u003e\" and \"\u003cstrong\u003eBlack Wasp Version\u003c\/strong\u003e\". From the same \u003cstrong\u003eLiz Harris\u003c\/strong\u003e sessions, and yet another deep deep excursion into heavyweight lushness. \r\n\r\nFollowing the same duality split concept of the album, the 2nd disc is all devils. Album track \"\u003cstrong\u003eFunction\u003c\/strong\u003e\" is given a full side to let the bass heaviness breath. \r\n\r\nAnd finally, long time \u003ca href=\"http:\/\/ninjatune.net\/artist\/the-bug#.VBleomRdW0k\"\u003eBug\u003c\/a\u003e collaborator and sound-system\/ragga legend \u003cstrong\u003eDaddy Freddy\u003c\/strong\u003e comes in menacing and hard on \"\u003cstrong\u003eBlaow\u003c\/strong\u003e\" to wrap it up. \r\n\r\nWatch for other material to appear via various sites\/giveaways.
